Meet the Team

Sports Massage Therapist

Calum

While working as an outdoor instructor in 2010-2014 Calum became heavily involved with sports coaching and exercise therapy benefits. Qualifying as a UKCC Paddlesports coach and coaching Strength and Conditioning as part of his role.

Calum also works as a HCPC registered paramedic with a background in event medicine and sports injuries. Calum developed his knowledge in sports injuries and became a sports massage therapist, focusing on high impact sporting injuries. With a keen interest in Concussion assessment and management, Calum often develops his knowledge in sporting injuries undertaking university MSc. modules in Advanced Clinical Practice and Sports Medicine.

With a background in various activities Calum has a network of other healthcare professional colleagues of whom he is able to provide appropriate referrals too such as: sports medicine practitioners, physiotherapists, chiropractors and Osteopaths, along with a variety of fitness professionals who can assist with rehabilitation of injuries.

Craig

Being involved with Judo from age 5 Craig has recently undertaken UKCC Coaching qualifications in Judo and is a 2nd Dan Black Belt.

Craig has a passion for youth development and regularly works with youth squads in his full time role as a Judo Coach. Craig's Judo experience also includes fighting and working with some of the Team GB Olympic Athletes and Team Scotland’s Commonwealth Team.

His passion for Judo, athletic and fitness enhancement helped him to undergo his Sports Massage course while also working towards his Level 3 Personal Trainer Qualification.

Craig has a drive for recovery and sport injury prevention while being able to provide key information relating to rehabilitation exercise.
